Apparently a sarcastic dig at O and E. But there was a post yesterday or the day before quoting Aranda as saying he feels like this is going to be year two of his defense, even though it will be his third year, because it takes a while for players to learn it and he lost so much after the first. So, if it takes the defensive genius at least two years to get his system installed, where's the criticism of him?

If the offense is top 15 with only part of it installed I dont Think people will criticize it much.

Aranda has delivered.

We often ran single receiver routes, never a jet package, and ran way more than 50% of time. This offense sounds nothing like Cameron's.
Actually 2015 was mostly 11 set, and link gives a good descr of formations

Yeah hasn't the whole goal been West coast? Now it's a spread?

People do realize those are different correct?

Sounds nothing like Cameron's offense. Cameron ran predominately I formation.

No, he didn't. Cam's offense was multiple and he called more plays out of 11 personnel than any other set in his 3 years at LSU, and more plays out of 11 personnel than all of the "I-form" personnel combined.

That said, Cam's situational play calling left a lot to be desired while he was here.

LINK

That is a breakdown of the personnel usage from 2015. 2014 was a bit more conservative, but 2013 used even more single back & 3+ wide sets.

Good thing we’ve hired a guy with so much experience running spread offenses.

Yeah, totally. No one has ever learned something new and had the ability to apply that to knowledge...

12 is LSU terminology for a two tight end package... bonehead. E explained this. Your reading capability must be very low.

NCAA gave LSU a waiver to the 11 man rule for this season while the coaches figure out how to spell OFFENSE ..
12 personnel line up is a new line up that will revolutionize offense.

Combined, LSU used the I-formation on 42 percent of its plays,

You’re going to say that at 42%, the I formation wasn’t a prominent feature in Cameron’s offense? The brilliant poster on the first page said that Ensminger’s comments sound like Caneron’s offense. The two sound nothing alike.

They'll never be able to stop the "43 Wham" if we throw an extra FB in there. 12 players on the field. Genius

Precisely. Predictability is what has been killing LSU. Not so much formation.

Good post, RB.
