Paging Pioneer: Supreme Court rules against unions

The Supreme Court has ruled public sector workers aren't required to join and pay union dues as a condition of employment. This will slash millions from union revenues.
Workers may have to actually earn raises and work now. THE HORROR!

The really screwed up part of this was that the Unions were allowed to do whatever they wanted with the funds that the courts allowed to be MANDATORY drafted from the employees paychecks.
Much of that money went to Democratic candidates for office. Should have been reversed years ago.

Pio may have been in support of the unions, but I'm sure some of his alters were against them. He may be conflicted now.

Common sense ruling. Wow!

Government employees shouldn't have ever been allowed to organize in the first place.
Public sector unions are pure horseshite.

I understand the idea of unions. Yes, robber barrons used to be legitimate jackasses, and employees really did "owe [their] soul to the company store." Unions were a way to have some pull against working extremes.
But I've always had a problem with MANDATING that part of my check went to the union for whatever they wanted. If I go to a college, I pay the college, and it does what it wants with the money I give it. If I don't like it, I don't go to the college if I don't like the speakers it brings to campus. But in working, I contract with the employer, not the union.

Freedom loving Americans should all be grateful for Mitch McConnell and his leadership in the Senate today. The man knows how to own the libs.

Great step in the right direction. Long term, public sector unions need to be outlawed.

You don't have to join a union

The problem was they were using the dues so their leaders could wine and dine with Democrats. SEIU head was hanging with Obama, weekly.
They can only blame themselves for this.
The leadership of unions pissed all over their union members, decades ago.
