That’d be an incredible class. Very well rounded

I’d be thrilled with that class. Hopefully we can land them all.

Shea had a similar projection this morning as well. He left Ray Parker out, and had Joey Porter Jr instead. The rest of the class was identical.

For those into rankings, I did the class calculator and our number was 287.47 with Porter. The last five years that would have been:

5th, 8th, 5th, 3rd, 5th

The guys at 247 seem to be pretty confident that Davis will be the 5th-6th highest back in this class when all is said and done.

Parker was a lock a while ago, what happened? I know they didn’t cool on him

From what I’ve read it sounds like they expected him to pop already but he hasn’t. They may be a little frustrated with that.

Can not let DL Sopher getaway. He'd be the closest thing to Lawrence we could get.

Man, we have southern lab and Kentwood in our district.

Impossible to shut down Davis, he’s one hell of a running back and has hands like a receiver. Super dangerous on screens.

Kardell Thomas is one of the meanest son of bitches I’ve ever coached against. Not only will he block you, he’ll also put your dick in the dirt repeatedly and will make kids quit.

Palmer is so damn fast. They like to hit him with bubble screens. He’s like a ghost when he gets the ball, always finds a way to make people miss or he runs right past them.

If there's an underlying theme for the 2019 class it would be physicality. They are getting some physical, violent football prospects in this class.

Kardell
Bradford
McClendon
McCallum
Brooks

35 percent confidence on D Line tells me that Sopsher is going to Bama. O can't let that happen. Don't know what needs to be done, but we can't let 5 star talent keep going to Bama. I get it easier said then done, but at some point LSU needs to stop it from happening. I know, beating them on the field will go a long way to do that.

How's that compare to TigerBait.com's predicition? I'm sure they're pretty close.

Don’t be surprised if we land both Sopsher and his brother. If we give his brother a scholarlship then I think we land Sopsher for sure. However I do not believe that Lee is coming here. The other factor which might be playing in our favor for Sopsher is Bama is really loading up on the D line. They might have an inclination that he is not signing with them, so they are taking commitments from lower rated recruits.

Do you know something or are you just an a-hole bc my contact in tangi tells me Lee is all LSU and Sophsher is leaning LSU but Bama is still in it.

Assuming Zack Edward decommits and no one else does, that leaves us with 17, which of course means 8 more commits. I'm going with...

Ishmael Sopsher
Trey Palmer
Devonta Lee
Ray Parker
Noah Cain
Donte Starks
Chester Kimbrough

I'm pretty confident in at least those 7, with the last one I'm not too sure of, maybe Christian Harris? Maybe John Emery pulls a Jamarr Chase and comes to LSU in the end? Maybe Byron Young comes here like Spiegs predicts? Maybe another random player we can't think of comes here? No idea what else could happen.

Nothing specific but it is not a accident that Sam Petitto was hired away from Georgia and is on staff at Alabama as recruiting coordinator. He is also close friends with the barber who is the handler for the North Tangipohoa players. It is no accident that Pete Golding from Hammond is now the Co-defensive Coordinator at Alabama. I will get attacked for saying it and I hope I am wrong but I would be shocked if we get the Amite players.

I’d be shocked if we didn’t get Lee. Sophsher on the other hand wouldn’t surprise me either way but LSU is in good shape.
