I’ve always paid cash for my vehicles. I know some will argue that not smart....yada yada yada, but paying cash gets you into more of what you can afford.

Your likely to look past this bell or this whistle...or one more model upgrade when you’re not fronting over the cash on hand for it. FWIW, vehicles are more of a point a to point b thing to me as well so I’ve never spent over $20K for one and that was recently on a used Tundra.

84 months are a thing? You going to be driving that car for 7 years?

People like to treat a car note like it’s literally going to take years off your life. I have a 72 month, but I can afford it, and I love the car and plan on keeping it well past 72 months. Sure, having a long note can be a bad thing depending on the situation, but I spend too much time in my car in my already short life to drive a POS.

This is what your headline should read. No baw pays $600/month for a car note, only dumbasses do

That’s not a bad deal if the paint protection and plastic bed liner is included.

After I buy a vehicle, I immediately start putting money aside for my next one so that I can buy it outright when the time comes. Saves the interest involved in financing and eliminates taking on thousands of dollars in debt.

My company vehicle is “free”.

My wife’s is in the 1k range. Big, expensive suv but at least we got a 0% interest.

Clearly someone who does this cannot be saved from themselves. There are many forms of slavery, some people volunteer ....

Yeah man, but if you make real money spending >5% of your monthly take home on a car isn’t that big of a deal.

I pay $850 a month for a 2017 Denali diesel crew cab 4x4......

$75k truck.....my trade and discounts knocked about $32k off the price.

I'm happy, my credit union is happy with their 1.5%, we all happy....

If I am going to pay for 84 months, it will not be for an F150. I would consider it for a Tundra, though. You have to look at which will still have useful life, after the note is paid off.
