also, what about the middle east. it was only stable for while in ottoman times. What about Africa or Asia? TO stop immigration as yall so badly want, you need to improve these places.

Step one: End the War on Drugs.

Build a big arse wall and then care even less about what happens south of the border...

it is. You will continue to have immigration and terrorism then.

Sounds like all the impoverished Mexicans and Central Americans are getting the hell out of there, and that’s a good start.

Build a wall and stop dealing with their corrupt asses. Then maybe the people will finally get tired of the shite and revolt.

That's Augusto Pinochet. He was a capitalist and a dictator, under his leadership Chile became a stable economy.....yeah, he was a cattle prod virtuoso, but he was all about the money.....hated Communists and Socialists.....today's Democrats would not fare well with him

If US companies are not going to manufacture their products in the US then give them incentives to do it in Mexico instead of China.

Attach birth control requirements to any aid we give them.

Leave them alone. Let them fix themselves. Build a wall. Keep them out.

Labor is still pretty damn high compared to China though. Only reason Ford et al have plants there is they can save buckets of $$ through shipping.

Not my circus, not my monkeys. When the US tries to go around "fixing" other countries problems it usually means long drawn out wars that are expensive in both finances and precious american lives.
The only thing the US has to "fix" is its disastrous immigration and border security problem.

yeah that will stop the illegals

fn left wing dipshit
did you hear about cartels in colorado undercutting the legalized pot sellers? was that not supposed to end the smuggling and selling by them?

immigration is a privilege and not a a right.
build hadrians wall version 2.0, militarize it as a national security issue and wipe out all cartels
and watch how much that fixes. having a shithole 3rd world nation as our neighbor fricking sucks as we all are seeing.

Communication is a lot easier with mexico vs. china due to the time zone issue. Language is a lot easier, as many americans speak spanish.
Probably more relevant for service jobs than manufacturing though.
