Would you still watch NBA regular season if both super teams are in CA?

The thought of having ~50% of the NBA's Starting All-Stars in one state is pretty sickening.
I get the hardcore NBA fanbaws are salivating over this scenario but this would literally mean that every other team in the Western Conference outside of CC (If they keep Paul) has ZERO shot.
The crazy thing is that the NBA still consistently puts butts in the seats. I don't understand it.

Yea but it will actually be two states. Once that law passes to make 3 Californias.

Meh. I didn’t tune in to GS games just because they were a super team.
Obviously I’ll make it s point to tune in the Laker games early on if Lebron goes. But it won’t last.

Yeah. The timeline continues moving forward no matter where LeBron or Kawhi or anybody ends up.

Yeah, it wouldn't be much different than putting Bron in CC with Hardwn and CP3. I do think Silver might not like 6-8 of the league's top 15 or so on the same court in one side of the bracket.

Why?
Would you like it better if one of the teams
Was the Jazz instead?

I say that has about a 60% chance of happening atm.
Kawhi was assumed to be staying in SA.

Because it renders the NBA regular season and the first/second round of the playoffs meaningless.
It wouldn't bother me if it were a ~40 game schedule but 82 freaking games where it really doesnt matter.

I find it hard to see a scenario where Kawahi is in LA next season. I don’t think they can stack the assets unless Khawai pulls a Paul
George, and even that didn’t work

1.) how is that any different than the past 4 seasons?
2.) what does them being in California have to do with anything?
If anything it makes it more interesting because there would be a team would could match up talent wise with GS

You had roughly ~8 teams with more than a zero shot at making it to the Conference finals.
CA is West Coast. Games would be at 9pm for me and knowing the Pels have zero fricking shot would impact my decision to buy tickets or even watch all the games.

Instead of 2 teams having a shot, this would mean 3 teams have a shot in the West.

No West team had any chance to beat those 2 teams this season. GS and HOU were 16-4 in the 1st 2 rounds, all 4 series were done in 5 and never in question. Those teams had no shot, none.
