Note: No Scores in Thread Titles

World Cup posters:
The Soccer Board, since its inception, has a policy of not posting scores in thread titles. This is done as many matches are played while posters are at work, asleep, etc.
We respectfully ask that you abide by this policy throughout the World Cup.

US isn't in the World Cup so we're not going to get a large influx of "first timers" to really worry about this.

It’s just ridiculous. It’s the one sport where you can easily keep the score in the subject. shite they do it for basketball. If you don’t want to know don’t come to the board.

Why are you coming to the soccer board when you haven’t watched a game yet and you don’t want to know the score? Seems like you’d want to avoid anything related to the game.

This is like not being able to watch an NFL playoff game until later but checking ESPN.com because there are NBA games played that day. Literally makes zero sense and is the biggest hole in the soccer board’s no scores rule.

If you want to know a score, just go to a site that you know will have the score. That place is clearly not here, and it's been that way since the board was created.
