Maybe that's why his weekend was so great.

We will never know.

Luke Heimlich had a great start as well.
And then they threw a party for him.

Oregon State was the better team. One player wouldn’t have made a difference.

Amazing that the closer didn't pitch when the team got outscored by 20+ runs in the 2 games.

No doubt. Nothing worked out for LSU this weekend, but probably our 2 hottest pitchers coming into the weekend threw 0 pitches against Oregon State.
Vietmeier, Kodros and Moffitt worked 35% of the innings against Oregon State.

Your argument would hold a lot of water if we would have lost games like 14-7 and 12-5 or something like that.
The fact that we score 1 damn run against Oregon St kind of lessens the impact of your argument. I mean you honestly don't think that Peterson would have pitched 9 scoreless last night right?

Peterson probably should have started a game in the regional. Considering he was one of the hottest pitchers on staff. I get he wanted to save him to possibly close out both Oregon St games on the back end but you never got to the back end.

Again that argument makes a lot of sense....but the importance of it is very minimal considering we score 1 run over 2 games against Oregon St.

Peterson and Bain should have been our first two options last night. Use your experience and leadership to take on Oregon State. Then if you somehow make it to Monday you can try that shite we tried last night.

Not starting him last night was really dumb. We have no pitching left but we don’t use our best remaining pitcher who is rested and ready to go.
Likely wouldn’t matter with the way we were hitting though

Bain did a hell of a job. I know his final numbers dont reflect it but the kid was playing his 3rd game in 24 hours. That’s impressive. That’s not a knock on Peterson.

Fontenot did too, not his fault the ump gave him a shitty strike zone

Fontenot got screwed by the defense and also that play where the ball hit the bag. I think he might have settled in otherwise

WTF man?!?!?
I don't want to have to look at that. I'm about to lose my breakfast a-hole.

That is just wrong.
Those kids are way too old for his tastes.
