Why is that embarrassing? I prefer people to work than to live off the govt.

If you beg your dad, I bet he'll take the training wheels off your bike!

My dad worked at a shrimp factory do about 5 years. He was bringing in a check to support us and all the shrimp we could eat..... didn't bother me at all.

Probably not all his career. I would guess he's in his 50's and some company let him go during RIF. He manned up and is doing what it takes. Learn from it.

My Dad's a bookie. I used to be embarrassed, but he owns about 2 dozen guys that post here.

I defended you after the rape thing saying it was taken out of context

But you’re a terrible thread starter regardless

Since I went out and got a job and moved away from my parents, I’ll never mock any man’s (or women’s) way of earning an income (assuming it’s legal).

You should try it sometime.

What is wrong with shoe sales men? On commission I suspect they can do pretty well.

I will tell you whose kids ought to be embarrassed are these kids whose dads are worker's comp or social security disability frauds.

When my kids were young it used to burn me up when those fraudsters were always volunteering to coach the baseball teams having practice right after school at 3 pm or something.

If they are too disabled to work they are too disabled to coach. There were always three or four in the league.

I remember back in the seventies when SS disability was only for people who could not do any job.

My older sister recently broke up with a guy who’s uncle had his son put his foot on his spine and pull back on his arms to break it so he could get on disability

There are some pathetic people in this world

I have no idea how old you are but this is what is wrong, in my old mind, with a lot of youngsters today. I grew up as poor as anyone but never knew it because in my hometown everyone was poor outside about five families who owned everything.

People worked back then. There was little or no give away crap like today.

We were taught a lot of things but we were certainly taught you never made fun of anyone for any reason. Looks, poor grades/special ed, how and where or what they lived in. How they dressed and on and on.

Maybe I take your post wrong but it appears to me you're knocking on someone who works in retail sales at Dillards. He's trying man. He could probably sit on his arse and draw some give away but no, he chooses to work.

So screw you, you entitled piece of crap. You are the reason people look down on those who think they are better.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who saw Ferris pass-out at 31 Flavors last night.
