If a couple has a long term affair, will it work? Or would she cheat again? Discuss..

As far as sayings go, it’s one of them.

I can tell you it's no more set in stone than assuming someone will never cheat.

If someone cheated on someone else to be with you they'll cheat on you to be with someone else.

It depends on the age if you ask me. When I was in high school, yea I cheated because well, it's high school. When I had girlfriends after high school, I didn't. I would say once you get to a certain maturity standpoint if they are still cheating, they wont stop

I get that. Let's say the affair lasted a year. And they divorced. Now, half a year later still going. Would she get antsy?

Kind of depends on the situation, but usually she's going to cheat again

Sounds like she is afraid to be single. Never trust a relationship-hopper.

Some people do it because they are immature, it really all depends on the person.

Could work but what does that say about a person if they met you while cheating on someone else?

It would be like trying to turn a hooker into a housewife then complaining when she tricks on the side.

Wait. You're dating someone who left her husband for you?

She's gone leave you.

You should always cheat first so that she doesn't have the upper hand in the relationship if she winds up cheating

Eventually they will cheat on their last person. Always is a long time. They'll probably die first.

I knew a couple who had an affair while he was married to his first wife. He ditched wife #1, married,wife,#2, and they've been together about 15 years now. AFAIK they're faithful to one another
