Some things to note:
Pay attention to columns A-Q. Don't worry about anything past that, its just for my benefit.
Good news for LSU:
No teams seem to steal alot.
Bad news for LSU:
-Oregon st is one of the 2 or 3 best teams in the country. And they weren't last year according to the numbers.
-San Diego st can hit but they don't walk alot, so I would support throwing Hess
-Oregon st has amazing numbers across the board including walks, another reason to save Hilliard for that day.

Also UCLA has a legit change to take that Minny Regional, possibly setting up a chance for us to host a super assuming we luck our way out of corvalis

We've been pretty God-awful on the road this year and we're gonna put out our true freshman in front of a crowd that is going to be pretty jacked up?
I'm torn though, cuz to be fair he has been pretty cool and collected for most of the year. I'm curious what is road record is.

OSU seats less than 3500. Averaged 2700 fans a game...

I still think you throw Hess in game two. He's been there before and is coming off of one of his strongest outings this season. If you're going to beat Oregon State, I think you'll need to do it with Hess on his best day.
Last year Hess threw 3.1 IP against Oregon State giving up 0 runs, 1 hit, 6 strikeouts, and only 1 BB. Granted, that was when he was on fire out of the pen.

Hilliard outpitched the number one pick in the draft with LSU’s postseason squarely on the line on the road. I have no doubt that Hilliard can handle any and all situations. But he will probably go Hilliard then Hess just because Hilliard has the most rest.

I think the weather will play a problem for LSU going from the ninety's and low 70's to upper 60's and 40's at nite

If we get out of this regional, the super regional, on the surface, seems very winnable.

I hope no low seeds upset higher seeds cause we play better against 1 seeds than midweek type opponents.

Always appreciate this work
The only thing left to do is drop them into some Bill Connelly style radar graphs.

Jerry Maddox against Oregon st can be dangerous too. He's pitched 80 innings only allowed 51 hits, .184 ba against. He has a shot to keep them in it.

The one region that really stands out to me on getting screwed is Ole Miss getting Tennessee Tech as a 2 seed after seeing your numbers.

Ole Miss and Stanford seem to have the toughest regionals for a host team.

Luckily only about 3k of them.

If UCLA wins the Minn. regional, and somehow LSU wins the Oregon the super would go to UCLA not LSU, based on UCLA’s higher ranking.

I feel like Texas Tech and Arkansas got two of the toughest regionals.
