By this point in the season, he's probably beaten up and tired period.

People just manifest it more some days than others. If you ever played sports, some days (for me at least) were easier to get into the flow and you had more energy. Some were more of a struggle.

Yea K Love ain't right. Thought he shook it with quick threes to start but the dude can't hit a putback right now. Has trouble finishing through contact and is petrified of the whistle on defense. WAKE UP K LOVE!

He’s played more minutes than anybody else in both the regular season and in the playoffs in his 15th year. That was also his 98th game of the season which is approaching his career high of 100 (I believe) and there is a short turnaround. The dude probably is tired.

Maybe he is. Maybe he isn't. I don't know.

Just find it weird that it comes and goes at random.

He is coming off a travel day which can be exhausting and mess with your body.

Thought about that but he's come off travel days before and been fine.

Is he just done for the rest of the series? He'll be coming off a travel day for the rest of the series

Why

The guy had 16 on 60% shooting and I had MULTIPLE times posted that something was wrong and he just didn't have it/was tired.

Nobody is using it as an excuse. He just didn't have it last night.

He's played more minutes than MJ did. Do you think Wizards MJ would be physically capable of being as great as Lebron is almost EVERY single night playing 100 games and leading the league in minutes?

Or would MJ have had random night where he didn't have it/die on the court from exhaustion? I'm not comparing the two, giving perspective as to why Lebron might have been tired and why it isn't weird at all.

Do you get randomly gassed? Do you know of any other players in any sport that are just randomly gassed?

I don't think you understand the toll an NBA season takes. You don't play heavy minutes for close to 100 games over as long a career as LeBron's had and shake it off in three days off.

Fatigue builds over time. If you're pretending otherwise...well, it's almost like you're doing it to drop the "second best player ever" line.

Even then, Jordan's FG% dropped in the playoffs. The season takes a toll.

Not having it and being exhausted are two different things.

Being physically exhausted is not something that comes out of no where. It's a slow build unless you're ill or something.

If he just had a bad game, fine. Whatever. I get it. But physically exhausted? Seems strange

Maybe whatever illegal substances he takes to recover just weren't as effective as they usually are

You're so defensive. I'm not even making an accusation against him but you seem to be hunting for one.

Don't think its gassed. More like frustration.

His supporting cast shows up once every 4 or 5 games.

Except for Jr Smith who is terrible.

You criticize LeBron and his apologists will spin it for his benefit every time so its pointless. I've never seen a top tier professional athlete as coddled as LeBron.

If the Cavs lose then Lebron can't do it all himself and has no supporting cast. If the Cavs win then Lebron is the greatest of all time. It's really that simple and Lebron hs so much self awareness that he knows how to act accordingly to the moment and create a narrative before he's even put in front of a microphone. He knows he has the media and his mega-fans in his pocket and they will push his agenda for him.

You're insane

I'd say most of the media still coddles Jordan more than they do Lebron

Which is weird as hell.
