I would like to know why so many people insist on backing into parking spots in the first place. Especially at grocery stores or the mall, where it's not like there will be a huge traffic rush when you leave. By the time you reverse/go forward/reverse/go forward 4 times, you've saved yourself absolutely no time when you leave.

I get the reasoning behind it, makes it safer when leaving, but if you're going to block traffic while making a 15 point turn backing in, don't bother. Just take it slow when leaving.
