NS- Would be a tough one to gauge because Bama would not have him. Assuming Bama would be just as good is how I will predict.

JF- I wanted him bad, but he fell off at the end of his tenure at FSU. If he was just in stagnant mode, then he will do just fine.

UM- He is consistently good, has won at the biggest level, and always competes.

NS- 12-0 or 11-1 Loss to either Bama, UGA, or Auburn.
UM- 11-1 or 10-2
JF- 10-2 or 9-3

Obviously you knew who I was talking about. With last names, the question would not had fit on subject line.

Probably wouldn’t be an underdog to Georgia, but it’d be close.

Definitely wouldn’t be an underdog to Auburn which we probably will be.

You’re out of your mind if you think we’d be an underdog to Miami with either of those coaches.
We’re barely an underdog to them (3 points) with Orgeron.

I don't get it either. He has one bad season and everybody assumes he's on the decline. He just won the Orange Bowl the season before.

It was pretty clear last year that the relationship with FSU had broken down and Fisher was looking for a change of scenery.

One of these isn't like the other.

O and Miles would have been fired for a 6-6 season.

It was so much of an outlier that you have to almost disregard it. He had no pattern of progressive decline. It just came out of nowhere.

He had years of very good teams but the one time he had a disaster season where everything that could go wrong did people say that's the real him? Makes no sense.

Now if he's horrible for a couple of years at TAMU then you'd have a case for him having lost something.

Would they have been angling for another job throughout that 6-6 season or possibly before?

Jimbo beat FSU to the punch anyway since he left before the regular season was even over.

Maybe you fricks did, but I didn’t. He’s a great recruiter that underachieved with what he had. FSU is too big of a fish in that relatively small pond of the ACC for him to go 10-10 in his last 20 games in conference. He’ll be mediocre at a&m, too.
