I just don't get the hype

Im all about depth, but what gives Burrow more potential than Brennan??? Does the guy have any playing time?
Coming out of high school, Brennan was much higher touted.
What's all this hype about?! Is it only because he has 2 years under Meyer? Is that what all this is about?

It’s about one guy has looked solid in every opportunity he’s been given while the other one folded in his big shot to prove he could be the leader of a team. HS rankings mean jack shite once they’re on campus.

Brennan isn’t ready yet. Burrow is ready and can start right away. We don’t have to throw Brennan out there not ready to the wolves like we did with Jarrett Lee and you saw how it effected his confidence. Burrow buys us two years to get him ready.

Forget High School.
They both were high school stars
Just watch both years of their Spring games and limited regular season reps.
You can judge with your own eyes.
Several Buckeye fans wanted Burrow to be the guy last year and this season.

I don't think Brennan was more highly touted coming out of HS. Barrow's 4*s were at least as solid as Brennan's. We need something to get hyped about this weekend and it ain't baseball. 
I'm all in. If Brennan or Narcisse can beat him out then fine, but they both have a ways to go.

Doing something that I haven't done before. I'm giving Orgeron and his staff the benefit of the doubt.
I'm going to assume that this guy is the real deal, because this is not a move you make for depth. This is a move you make for immediate results.
I'm not pretending to know much about this guy but I'm believing that they think this guy can start for us over our other guys, or else you wouldn't go after him. We don't need some world beater. We just need someone better than what we have right now.
Now if he turns out not to even be better than what we have, then the regime is right back on the shite list.

Burrow is older, and bigger...
was good enough to be the starter at OSU where they seem to have an overflow of very talented QB's...
