Right now we have some buzz, and people are feeling some hope with the Burrow possibility but if you think this board was bad with the whole Orgeron/Ensminger/Troy situations, you better buck your seatbelt.

Im not worried about the melt that will happen if burrow decides to go elsewhere, I'm worried about the fact that this whole burrow charade has ultimately turned people against our own set of QBs, and following this they wont be able to do anything right - continuously fueling narrative that they aren't good enough.

We know their struggles, we know no one has stepped up yet, and its been discussed ad nauseum, but I think this situation is going to end up creating a total shitstorm of negativity surrounding our QBs/Program if this guy decides not to come.

This board will be a complete nightmare at the first sign of trouble, and our schedule ain't no walk in the park.

Grab your bourbon boys, were in for some fireworks either way.

As an outsider, it seems to me that people just want Miles Brennan and Lowell Narcisse to get a bit more experience and be ready as Jrs if Burrow goes to LSU. Regardless of their talent they have not had the tutelage that Burrow had.

I dont think they are against them, just want them to be patient.

I don't know when he will commit, but I have the admin team on alert. They have been told to locate their swat gear and be ready for action.

Here's a little secret. It would be the same way if Burrow comes AND is the starter for the Miami game. Just like so many before him, he would be elevated to All American status before taking any meaningful snaps, only to be pushed to the side after two 3 and outs in the opening game.

In fact, the only way to be in the good graces of the fanbase is to NOT play.

Only Brennan is anywhere near capable of producing an SEC West Championship, but he's too thin/fragile and plays behind a god awful pass blocking OL that will most likely get him killed in an SEC game. (He might even not make it to the SEC)

That's why O/E want another QB in here........

maybe they aren't, maybe they are. Maybe they need another year, for different reasons.

If we don't get Burrow, we'll find out soon.

If we do get Burrow, we'll find out sooner (because either Burrow will be the starter... or not).

So, a normal season on the Rant then.

How is it a charade. Do you know this word's meaning.
Secondly, your assertion is bullshite.
There's one way to for a quarterback to earn confidence of coaches, teammates and fans. Play well. Tiger fans will accept a quarterback who is competitive. One can be accurate. A quarterback who make good decisions most of the time.
If Burrow doesn't come, I will support whoever lines up under center or in the shotgun.

Burrow has become half of these yo-yo’s golden ticket from Willy Wonka. Obtain it (him), and be guaranteed the “promised land”. The expectations and pressure on this kid is WAY beyond over the top.

Last year I would have agreed with you. I think things are looking much improved in the trenches this year.

I'm actually expecting him to pick LSU now.

That'd be a high quality troll job if he still goes Cincinnati after the Instagram follows.

Even if Burrow goes elsewhere, there’s no way this place melts anything like 11/2016.

There may be people disparaging the QBs, but knowledgeable fans wont because they’ll know where the real blame lies if the QBs fail to produce.

You do know all humans are nuts, right?

It's just that some are more nuts than others.
