How is it a charade. Do you know this word's meaning.

quote:

cha·rade
noun. an absurd pretense intended to create a pleasant or respectable appearance.

Speculating about who his dad is friends/not friends with, hanging onto everyone he follows on instagram/twitter, speculating about his visits or how our current players are "throwing shade" and reading into every little thing is quite literally the definition of charade.

quote:

There's one way to for a quarterback to earn confidence of coaches, teammates and fans. Play well

Correct.

quote:

If Burrow doesn't come, I will support whoever lines up under center or in the shotgun.

As will I, my friend. As will I.

Expectations are welcomed, but he shouldn’t be looked at as a savior. Success shouldn’t be put solely on his shoulders. There’s PLENTY wrong with LSU football and a QB cannot fix that. The odds of beating Alabama or winning the west/SEC shouldn’t be put on him or expected because of him and him only. With all of this Burrow business, it seems as if people are forgetting how AWFUL of a head coach LSU has and are seemingly hoping someone like Burrow can come in and win a championship...despite the glaring deficiencies within the program.

That occurred on it's own during the spring game.

Nah, I think there were a lot of people still holding on to the "can't judge players in spring game" narrative. That went out the window once Burrow became an option.

No no the "burrow charade" didn't cause what you say...the charade of LSU quarterbacks presented to us for the last 20 15+ years has done that.

All we are asking for is a competent QB. I don't care who he is. Pro/Duel/Black/white/age who cares. I just want the job to get done and win games.

Don't let a few overemotional, catastrophe syndrome ridden, message board posters cause a great deal of concern for yourself. Would be foolish.

The important thing is that you have anxiety and fear either way about things that have not happened and may never happen. You can never have enough anxiety and fear. If you can figure out how to add anger and hatred you will have the whole LSU scared fan enchilada.

If this causes them to, as you say not "be able to do anything right", then they are fricking worthless to begin with.

It would be nothing compared to the implosion if LSU goes 6-6 next year.

Well, if one of them actually HAD been good enough to separate himself, would we be having this conversation? Probably not.

If Burrow doesn’t pick LSU, we might as well forfeit the season.

But don’t worry, he’s coming here.

Nobody is down on our qbs. They’re just young and not quite ready. Would love them to sit a couple years and then get a chance to play without a 2 year learning curve.
