Both North and South Korea want us military presence gone imo. That's why they're both willing participants in all of this. I think no matter what someone will have to strong arm Kim Jung Un.

Can we get details on these drills? You would think since NK freaks out everytime we run them we should slow our roll for a little bit.

Finding common ground with the US/S Korea is not in Rocket Man’s best interest long term. I hope Trump works out a deal that eventually leads to the denuclearizatoon of the Korean Peninsula but it seems unlikely that a dictator would willing give up power.

They don't have that. "US military presence gone" would severely increase SK risk. With US presence, they at least have detente. A NK invasion of SK would be suicidal for NK and Kim.
If military deescalation occurred and the US could safely leave, I'd imagine both the US and SK would be happy.
