Dunno.
If cafe Sidney Mae is open for lunch in Breaux Bridge that may be a really good option. I have heard good things about that place.

Poches in Breaux Br. Crawfish etoufee w side of fried catfish. Or rabbit fricasse, pork back bone stew. Take an ice chest and pick up stuffed pork chops or chickens, ponce or chaudin to take back.

Poches has tons of daily specials and gives you that small town vibe that you can’t find in BR or Nola. Definitely a delicious and unique experience.

I always liked the Boudin shop in Henderson, next to Landry's.

This question has a thousand answers.
Can you be more specific with your route and your times?

I've just discovered a place days ago called Boiling Madd which features gumbo and poboys. Next to it is a place that sells cracklin and boudin.

Chef Roy's right off I10 in Rayne, La. Best seafood gumbo I've ever had.
