Doesn’t matter who pitches if we can’t hit. 1 run against Alabama is a disgrace.

Mainieri said in the post game interview that he had some soreness or something of the sort today. Can't catch a damn break. Sucks. Gonna need some good performances tomorrow because we HAVE to win.

There is no real way to spin this as a positive.

We're pretty much out of bullets.

Hopefully the baseball gods are kind to us and at least let our recruiting class stick together to repay us for this crappy year. When’s the last time injuries hit the baseball team like this?

Bush will start? Really? Why? Just to be consistent and give them another early lead? That just fricking sucks.

who else should start? Gilbert? Beck? We don't really have many options if Labas is out. Bush is really the only option right now if Labas can't go.

2010 Ranaduo missed most a good chunk of the year and it took him until the SECT to get back to normal. Joey Bourgeois got hurt as well and had to have TJ. It was also the year where we tried Ott as a starter and he just lost it. Our pitching staff was TERRIBLE in 2010.

I’d start Beck or Peterson over Bush without batting an eye.

Beck has struggled too much recently & Peterson is doing too well as closer

ETA
If Bush can give us a few good innings we have Fontenot, IIRC he threw around 30 pitches Friday night

Beck pitched well in his last appearance. Bush’s last two appearances have been Greek tragedies.

bama won't get topnotch starting pitching two days in a row. Their starter was very strong today.

Our best hitters (Antoine, Bain, and Watson) have not done well this weekend so far. They each need to step up Sunday.

I have not given up. I'll be at the Box at 2pm Sunday.

We wouldn't go deep in the post season regardless of a miracle.
Considering the injuries, the lack of top notch pitching across the board, anemic power this team is not made for a title.
