Baked Ham and Cheese Party Sandwiches Recipe?

I know this is a very simple recipe but seeing if anyone does anything different then the traditional.

I think some people call them funeral sandwiches. They're darn good. You can use gruyere for the cheese for a change. You could add pieces of cooked bacon to each sandwich and a very thin slice of sweet onion.

The typical ones have mayo mixed with mustard and crust cut off. I like them when they have gotten a bit soggy.

Not sure other than mentioned above what else to change them but other good ones are the mini muffulettas, roast beef with the sliced onion would be good and the English cucumber with butter is good.

Look up "ham delights"...there's a ton of recipes and they're mostly the same.
