I have only run into noseeums in the USVI. I will take skeeters any day of the week over those frickers.

Some people aren’t as tortured as others. I get whelps. And they fricking swarm to me.

Evidently I was on their menu too, I am so miserable right now. No one else in my group got bitten like I did.

They are in north br sometimes too... they get nuts at memorial in the spring.... I've even seen a good bit around independence park lately.

They really are sickening.

So is there a "season" for them or are they around all year long?

I'm near the coast (about 1000 feet) and haven't noticed them so hopefully it's too cold for them here.

noseeums

Sounds like a museum of smells. I bet there's people that would pay to go to that.

Lived in BRLA for 12 years never heard of noseeums until I moved to KWFL. Very few things take them out IMO

They are bad at times down on the Gulf Coast in Alabama. I grew up in Vermilion Parish in Louisiana and would take mosquitoes over No see ums any day. They give shits about OFF or any clothing.

Try sawyer picardin spray. Get it at Walmart on the camping section. Cut my dulac bites down about 75%. Almost quit going there altogether until I found this stuff

You need to buy No Natz. I don’t buy or need any other product.

I make a solution of equal parts imitation vanilla, Listerine (the original yellow)and water. Put in a spray bottle and spray yourself. Works for me and others...I've heard that adding a little mint to it helps but I haven't tried it.
