Many of those who are screaming about the Iran deal pullout are also people who have financial interests to this deal under the Agreement.

CNBC

President Donald Trump announced Tuesday he will withdraw the U.S. from a nuclear pact with Iran, a move that threatens Boeing's multibillion dollar deals to help restock the aging Iranian commercial air fleet.

The world's largest aerospace company has agreements to sell Iranian airlines with planes worth roughly $20 billion, based on list prices. The number of aircraft in the agreements is tiny compared with Boeing's total order book, however. Boeing ended the first quarter of this year with a production backlog of more than 5,800 airplanes, including more than 4,600 orders for 737s.

Boeing announced the largest of these deals in December 2016: 80 jets for Iran Air – including 50 of the 737 MAX 8 model. In April 2017, Iran Aseman Airlines signed an agreement to purchase 30 Boeing 737 MAX planes, with an option to buy 30 more. Both deals came after the nuclear pact that was signed in 2015.

I own 300+ shares of BA and I’m glad we aren’t selling them our jets. 80 planes is not much.

Who the hell cares? Boeing was one of the main lobbyists from the deal in the first place. The the deal goes through and Iran does business with Airbus. Lmao!
I’m all for American companies doing well, but not at the expense of allowing these genocidal lunatics to have access to tools which would allow them to achieve that genocide which they seek.

Sanctions will be reimposed including U.S. firms doing business with Iran.

meh.

a 4600 plane backlog means they might get around to building them in 7-10 years...

by that point theres a new government in Iran.

Also this

We will be instituting at the highest level of economic sanction, any country that helps Iran in its quest for nuclear weapons could also be strongly sanctioned by the United States.

So, just so I understand this...

Trump made a decision in the interest of the security of the USA and did not let the economic interests of some US companies dictate his decision-making?

What kind of fricked up shite is this?

Well. This changes everything. We can’t let Boeing lose the sale of a few dozen planes. Sure Iran will have nuclear capable intercontinental ballistic missiles in a few years if we stay in this plan. But let’s not let that fact bother us, right?

is this real life? what is next, such and such company is mad because they were building Iran's Naval Ships and the democrats and GOPe were making a killing selling them uranium? Or restaurant supply companies are mad because they were selling their tablecloths and bandanas to ISIS? Or Ford is mad because they sold ISIS, Hezbollah, HAMAs and the muslim brotherhood of Obama new trucks? (the Toyota trucks that Obama ordered left for ISIS are all broken down?)

It’s not a very good if the US tax payers have to give Iran the money to pay Boeing.

Boeing also got to keep billions in taxes due to Trump's tax cuts. I'm sure that will more than offset the loss of a few planes.
