I am a Boeing shareholder and I’m ok with it. Thanks for looking out though.

Anyone who follows this industry knows these orders were always suspect at best. Boeing wasn't counting on these orders so they won't be hurting. Airbus might also lose out since their planes contain so many U.S. made components they fall under our sanctions as well.

Boeing won’t lose a dime. Both Boeing and Airbus have limited capacity to build planes. The Iran business now goes to Airbus thus tying up their capacity leaving the rest of the business available to Boeing. All this does is shift revenues from one customer to another.

Boeing will lose every penny. Airbus gets the planes, and US industry will be / should be shut out of Iran's market. There are 220 other territories and countries to sell.

F**K Boeing......

They manipulated the rules to get a government contract torn up that would have sent business to Mobile.

Were allowed to rebid on the project after they knew the numbers were on the table.

Airbus all the way......

Boeing's CEO says the Trump administration's plan to abandon the Iran nuclear agreement will not hurt the company's production of 737 passenger jet aircraft.

Reuters reports that the company's CEO, Dennis Muilenburg, made the comments at a luncheon Tuesday and added that none of the jets the Boeing planned to sell to Iran Air under a now-revoked license were in a backlog of orders the company plans to fill.

Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin acknowledged the strength of the sanctions in a statement to the Post this week, adding that the measures affected several major industries.

“The Boeing and Airbus licenses will be revoked,” Mnuchin told reporters Tuesday. “The existing licenses will be revoked.” LINK

How are they going to "lose" a plane order they've never even received?
