the BEST QUARTERBACK OF ALL-TIME

The best quarterback of all-time has only 1 Super Bowl win...

In an era where the game is about 85% dominated by QBs...and is all about QB play?

I can’t believe the money NFL players get when they only play for 4 months of the year.

I can't believe you support the British government holding a 2 year old child hostage, and then killing him. Yet here we are.

The price to pay for an MVP QB. Ryan will be able to give Brees a personal loan while he deals with that awful jewelry investment loss.

I don't get why they gave him 30m annual. I mean it's not much, but is he really turning down 5/140.5mil?

That’s a lot of dough for check downs to the RB’s and TE’s.

I’m confused, is this a thread about Matt Ryan or Drew Brees?

They hate the man simply for the logo on his helmet.

Man has thrown for almost 42,000 yards yet he is known for check downs, LOL.

He also had little to do with 25 point blown lead, but they already know that.

Matt Ryan = Joe Flacco

Except one has Julio Jones
The other one has a ring

Matt Ryan has better stats than Flacco in every category and an MVP to boot. He would have had the SB MVP as well had Shanahan not gone full Shanahan.

One had an elite defense that won the SB for them.

That means Marshon Lattimore will have 10 more interceptions added to his total in 5 years

Are you seriously trying to say Drew Brees has made a living off checking the ball down? Honestly?

You’re right. I was confusing check downs with screen passes. And yes, he has made his living off screen passes.

He's the most accurate deep ball passer in recent years, but sure, he passes for 5K yards a year with screens.

Drew makes his living off of spreading the ball around. Other than that period where he had a hard on for Jimmy and was constantly forcing it to him, he uses everyone.

Tough to find articles on the screen pass game, but here is one from 2017

quote:

Screens (behind the line of scrimmage) – Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints At this level of the defense, statistics such as yards per attempt and touchdowns are almost entirely dependent on the player catching the ball and not so much the one throwing it. So here, we’ll look solely at accuracy, and it’s no surprise that Drew Brees comes out on top. Last season, he completed 67 of his 70 attempts behind the line of scrimmage, with two of those attempts being dropped. That’s a league-leading adjusted completion percentage of 98.6 compared to the NFL average of 93.8. The man rarely misses his mark.

As you can see, deep left and deep right passes are well above league average.

Pretty embarrassing here outside of deep middle
