It wasn't so much a prediction more a lot of detailed info on him and his recruitment. I'd say we're definitely behind Alabama and probably Indiana right now, but he's visiting this weekend so things can always change with that. Supposedly his dad is a HUGE HUGE Bama fan (refers to Bama as "we" and stuff), so that's what's working so much in their favor.

Damn great timing, would be a major steal for us to get him.
For sure one and done but an extremely hard worker and dedicated to team basketball.
Bill Armstrong came on late and focused primarily only on 2019. Armstrong's dad coached in Birmingham for a long time and he has been on Armstrong's radar for a long time.
EYBL Highlights
Best comparison I would give is Rodney Hood but better at attacking off the drive. Really no holes in his game, can play 1-4 and has a very very soft touch. My gut reaction is we get him, Bama obviously will be there no matter what.

That could be a birth mark, brah, people do have them in strange places sometimes. Kid has no control over that, his Pops seem like an Indiana man though, so Idk. Kid can shoot though, I wish Wade could swing him.

Didn’t see it mentioned in this thread, but the Indiana connection is through his older brother, Christian Watford, who played at IU from 2009-2013. Sounds like it’s going to be a tough battle between Indiana, Bama, and LSU. It’d sure be awesome if Wade can pull this off though!

Someone picking us over Kansas in basketball is about as ridiculous as someone picking Kansas over us in football

Not even a close comparison. Although Kansas has gotten more top players over the years then us, LSU's all time team would DESTROY Kansas. Getting top players to BR has never been the problem, getting the most out of them has.
