How do people consistently get to work in BR?

Sources say a female victim is trapped inside a vehicle pinned under the truck.

A) I go in for 7 so usually beat the traffic/wrecks.
B) Three viable routes into the office... the interstate is fastest if traffic is flowing.
C) Always check traffic before I'm out of my neighborhood so I know which route to take.

It's not getting to work that's usually the problem. It's getting home.

It's a small miracle this doesn't happen more often considering three lanes of traffic are trying to get down to one lane.

This. Go in early, leave early - only way.

You don’t. You leave at the same time and one day you’re 15 minutes early, then the next you’re 30 minutes late.

When I lived there I would take the loop.

Traffic is usually far worse in the evening. I avoid the interstate and only use surface streets. I only live about 5 miles from my office though

Just drove thru there about a week and a half ago. Whew!

work downtown and can use River Rd for 90% of commuting...until dipshits tore-up Nicholson. Otherwise, we check traffic and schedule errands across town to avoid that mess. And we've started using any online service we can. Amazon Pantry, grocery delivery etc.

Maybe more and more people are working from home?

How do the plant baws telecommute?

Come for the traffic stay for the floods and race riots.

The only way I’d ever move back to BR if I was able to work remotely from home. Nola traffic isn’t the greatest either but BR is a nightmare every single day

fricking idiotic truckers.

I go in early before 7 to try and miss what I can. But truth is, I will still get caught in some clusterfrick a few times a month.
A few observations:
Most BR interstate drivers are borderline mentally retarded.
I am constantly behind females that are putting on makeup while merging on interstate, and driving.
So many people text and drive on the interstate it's ridiculous.
18 wheeler drivers DGAF about anything or anyone else on the interstate. They consistently drive slow in the passing lane, or switch lanes whenever they feel the urge, regardless of who or what is in the lane beside them.
There are numerous imbeciles who fancy themselves citizen cops and feel it is their duty to drive the exact speed limit in the passing lane, not allowing anyone else to pass, to prove a point that they will not let anyone speed on their watch.
After an accident, drivers on the opposite side traveling the opposite direction slow down to 5 mph to stare at the wreck, causing both lanes gridlock.
I wonder if it's like this in other cities, or if BR is just a cursed shithole of driving retards.
