Why the frick would you dirty a bowl? Make the sammich and if the need place it on a paper towel.

I didn't believe it either. I called and asked her and she said it was true. I just chuckled and said ok.

I may have solved at least part of the issue as to why the kitchen is destroyed after she cooks and just normal cleanup after I cook. Blows my mind.

Why would anyone on God’s green earth pick to eat a PB&J when they could have had Chick-Fil-A?

Why the hell would you dirty up a clean bowl when it’s not necessary? FFS why not just put the whole sandwich in a blender and spoon feed it to your kid?

She's a typical woman I guess. Pretty smart but then pulls shite like this and makes me wonder about some of her thought processes sometimes.

Well, maybe she has a good reason for it. Does your son like it with the PB and J all mixed up like that?

My kindergartener helps me make scrambled eggs sometimes and likes to mix one egg at a time. Is that kinda what’s going on here?

Neither method. Here's my go-to:
1. Put 3 slices of bread in the toaster and toast them up.
2. Put a generous amount of peanut butter on 2 of the slices and spread it around.
3. Put jelly on both sides of the 3rd slice, and make this the middle piece of the PB&J toasted sandwich.
4. Enjoy.

I'm sure he does, but he also likes it made the normal way. He is 3. I don't think he has that quite sophisticated of a pallet yet.

Your son is mental if he chose a PB&J over Chick-fil-A. Probably got it from his mental mom since she makes them that way

Spread peanut butter on one slice.

Use squirt bottle for my jelly and make a "W/M" (somewhat liberal, but just right)

Put plain slice on top.

*If I have home made jelly from my Granny, I'll knife it out of the Mason Jar on to the PB (not spreading though).

Method A is quicker but method B is inarguably better

A

B is only to be used if you're making a large number of sandwiches at once. I can understand why your son would think B is correct because he's probably watched his mommy use B to make sandwiches for all of the kids lunches at the same time. B is more efficient and avoids cross-contamination when making 3 or more sandwiches. A is vastly superior for making one or two sandwiches as it doesn't necessitate dirtying up another bowl.

I assume you just made up B because that’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.
People who spread both on one piece of bread also suck

I've never seen pb&j done that way but my wife does rub the mayo and mustard slices together before she finishes my sammich. It does sort of even the flavor profile out a bit.

I was going to make a point on how choice of side for PB or J could make a difference, but this got solved quick here.
