I'm pretty hard right, but there are a LOT of leftist dominated industries.

- Computer engineering and tech of any kind
- Lawyers (not conservative. Liberal)
- Corporate executives
- Entire entertainment industry, top to bottom
- Medical professionals (mostly left, socially)
- Education
- Banking

And not one of those professions, maybe acting, requires you to sweat while you're working. That is what the left doesn't understand about middle Americans.

Lawyers are generally conservative by nature, by vote democrat because they prop up the trial lawyers.

Agreed, more because of the age and culture of these occupations. Conservatives tend be productive in concrete, substancial lines of work while the left in the abstract lines of work

The bankers and medical professionals I know are all conservatives.
As for lawyers, the OP already listed criminals as left wing.

CBA, welcome to the world of downvotes awarded not because you are wrong, but rather because people do not like hearing the truth.

I would say for the most part they are conservative, but have to be careful coming right out of the closet.

The political leanings of doctors is interesting.

primary care physicians are more likely to be Democrats, while procedural specialists are more likely to be Republicans.

Plastic surgeon with a wealthy client base is more likely to be Conservative...physician who works with poor people in an urban area more likely to be Liberal.

Physicians working in Pediatrics more tend to be Liberal. Radiologists more tend to be Conservative.

People( EMS, ER staff ) who have to deal with blood, bodily fluids more tend to be politically Liberal. ( higher disgust response among Conservatives? )
