These kids are getting God awful advice. I don’t know what happened with Guice not being drafted, but tolliver, Jackson and Key all made a big mistake leaving school early. Maybe this draft class will encourage some to stay next year.

The problem is these kids don't want to go to class. They want to do their 3 years and go to the draft. Done are the old days where I still don't know how we kept Dwayne Bowe, Marcus spears, booger McFarland, laron Landry, and so on.

These guys aren’t good examples, they all will be drafted. The examples areChris Faulk and Michael Ford who didn’t.

Jackson is a high second pick and will be fine. Other than a random mock he was never a round 1 pick. Tolliver doesn’t do school and that is the only reason he came out.

Guice and Key have no one to blame but themselves.

Key didn’t make a mistake leaving. His mistakes were made a long ways from a football field.

Weathersby was the only truly head scratcher. I’m not sure wtf he was thinking.

It's been happening for years ago LSU. Miles used this in his recruiting pitch.

Well it’s almost impossible now since our recruiting message is NFLSU. Kids that come here don’t care about ships they just want to get to the nfl like all the other Tigers before them.

When are you gonna realize some kids come here strictly to go 3 years then leave.

Doesn’t matter if they think they will get picked high or not. Some of these guys really don’t care about “college” as far as the academics part. Schools is not for some of them. You can preach all day long to a kid that if he stays he has a better Chance at getting drafted higher but some just don’t give af. Nothing the coaches can do about that.

LSU needs coaching. You get that and everything will fall into place.

Well perhaps next year O can point to this draft as an example of why leaving early might not be the best decision.

The problem is they are from poor families, can’t make the grades to stay in school, and won’t accept recommendations that they should stay in school because they don’t grade out to be a first round pick. Most are 3- and done and it hurts the programs goals to win a NC.

Look at the schools who keep their guys for 4 years. They have a reason to stay. The perks of being on a national championship team keeps guys in the program. Now compare that to never playing for championships and finishing your season at the Belk bowl. Yeah, no more class and a solid paycheck sounds better.
