Where was this guy expected to be drafted? Didn't hear anything about him pre-draft but to be honest I wasnt thrilled with the talk of a TE or especially LJ. If this dude was graded as a top DE and was expected to go top 1/2 of round one it's definitely better than what was talked about before the draft. Seems like a lot to give up but if he's another Cam at the opposite side of the line it's definitely a need and considering the QBs in the NFC South it may be the difference between Div Champs and WC.

He is definitely talented.......but you have to admit that spending TWO 1st rounders on a project DE is a lot. That’s not a future franchise QB.......it’s a project DE.

I think that he will be good. But if a QB emerges as a potential franchise QB in college this year......you have no ammo to get him next year (barring trading an existing quality player).

The ORG has been MUCH improved in the draft over the last 2 years so I def think we should wait and see. Hopefully it works out

I wasnt a member of this board last year but I'm sure people said the same thing about giving up a 2nd to trade up for Kamara last year and we all know how that turned out. I think they know the window is closing and this could be a home run pick. Will it be....time will tell. But it's definitely worth the risk at this point

We gave our 27th pick, a first rounder next year, and a 5th rounder for the 14th pick in return

That seems like we got arse raped when you see this

Buffalo gave their 22nd pick, a 3rd round pick for the 16th pick AND a 5th rounder in return

So that difference is worth us giving up a first And a 5th compared to just giving up a 3rd?

I think it isn’t

Moving up 6 spots is cheaper than moving up 13 spots.

Shitty comparison is shitty

DE is one of 4 premier positions

It's arguably the most valuable position besides QB.

We're in win now mode. Less picks, more impact. I feel like we gave up too much, but I won't be bitching if this dude gets 12-14 sacks next season.
