Definitely not, smaller dual threat QBs are phasing out. He abandons the pocket and takes off running way too much to last in the NFL for a decade.

Dumb racist article is dumb, but Jackson will end up being a much better QB in the NFL than most of the comparisons in this thread, including Manziel.
People trying to compare him with Watson and Manziel need to get caught up with the fact that Jackson never played alongside a single class that was top 25 in the country. Not once. Not a single receiver of his was or will be drafted and not a single OL in front of him will be drafted with the possible exception of Geron Christian who will be lucky to go in the 6th round. Put him around Clemson’s talent or A&M’s talent under Manziel, and it’d probably be a different picture. He’s pretty fricking awesome when he’s not running for his life every other snap.
He also played in a much more pro-style offense than he is given credit - much more so than every other prospect in this draft except maybe Rosen. He was asked to make a ton of intermediate throws in college that Watson wasn’t, as an example. He rarely ran RPO’s. His mechanics are inconsistent right now, especially going high in his release, but he was getting to his second and third reads with ease this year. It’s just that his offense largely sucked except for him.
