The jokes landed waaay better in this movie than in GoG 2. Cutting back on Drax laughing loudly was a smart move.

can we explain why Hulk is acting like a complete bitch and refusing to help?

My take on it is because the Hulk is grown up a little bit now. Instead of a raging toddler, he's a little kid. He's not just scared and confused, he may also embarrassed at how Thanos manhandled him.

Plus, he's aware he's back on Earth where he's not exactly loved and adored like he was on Sakaar.

The frick? They were the glue that kept the movie together

I think everyone in the theater gasped when Tony got stabbed and then people were either crying or just in stunned silence when Peter died. When the credits rolled there was no noise for roughly a minute

FYI, on Agents of Shield tonight one character made a random comment to Daisy about something happening in New York, a clear reference to the early events of Infinity War.

I love it when a villain thinks he's doing good for the greater good instead of just being an a-hole. Thanos thinks it's his destiny to save the universe.

I did not read any spoilers. I normally don't care if I see spoilers or not, as I watch these movies several times anyways. But this movie I did my best to try and be spoiler free.

Read the spoilers. This movie is gonna be heavy as frick. I love it.

Also if you view Thanos as the main character I could see how this could be somewhat of a standalone movie.

It's weird, because he says in the movie after he balances the universe he is going to relax and watch the sunset, so one of the final scenes is him sitting there watching the sun go down.

For someone who just killed half the avengers, I still kinda like the big guy

Right, just a little while before this movie Hulk was willing to fight this guy, but now after getting roughed up a bit he's a bitch,

Safe to assume that the original cast survived because they had won Thanos’ respect besting one of his armies in the original ?

Nah, I think it was "random"

Remember he also had respect for Quill for his willingness to kill Gamoroa

I think it was more about trimming the main cast for Avengers 4 and giving the OG avengers their swan song

Did they show or explain in the movie what happened to Valkyrie?

Good call. That sounds about right. But I wouldn’t be surprised if BP, Spidey and Strange came back for the final battle in A4

I feel like there will be some way in which almost all of those characters that dissipated in the end will come back. I'd be shocked if they were gone forever after the next movie.
