Sunset on Ocracoke Island (Outer Banks NC), looking west across the Pamlico Sound from Springer's Point where Blackbeard the Pirate reportedly liked to party. Summer of '15.

In San Francisco every few weeks for work and this was taken yesterday afternoon at Mission Dolores Park, which is my go-to for relax and enjoying the occasional recreational purchase. Took the red eye back to Chicago last night and I am exhausted.

I shoot with a Sony a5000. I really like it a lot, it's tiny and produces great photos and there are a good bit of lenses for it. I bought it because the price was good and it was a good size to travel with. When I upgrade, I will likely get a 6300 or 6500 depending on prices, but it will be one with an EVF.
@rintintin, I loved Madrid. I would love to go back one day.

From the other day, Double Eagle Ranch, Roswell, NM.
Mine that Bird, 50-1 Kentucky Derby winner in 2009. For anyone passing through the Roswell area, rather than wasting time taking pictures of cartoon aliens, stop by the Double Eagle Ranch and meet a real legend. The owners are extremely hospitable, gave me a tour and took all the pictures I wanted. Very unexpected but pleasant surprise.

Appreciate the info you + Roger have provided. I definitely would like an EVF.

I love it. You get the same image in the viewfinder that you get on your final product. It really helps with contrast in particular
