Zuck claims that FB has contacted Diamond and Silk. DS says FB has NOT contacted them. Was Zuck under oath? Can Congress have him arrested for perjury? He told a blatant lie when he was on the hotseat.
Approx 45 Obama people are now working at FB.
Should Congress pass a law to fine FB up to $1 million per day for reducing traffic to a FB page or removing a person's FB page if an investigation proves there was no just cause;therefore, FB discriminated against a person(s)?
This is a violation of Freedom of speech. The FB platform is a Freedom of speech platform.
DS has a right for other people to hear their voice. FB is discriminating against DS because they are conservative.

Cruz said that “there are a great many Americans who, I think, are deeply concerned that Facebook and other tech companies are engaged in a pervasive pattern of bias and political censorship.” Cruz noted that Diamond and Silk, sisters who have become famous for their pro-Trump videos, recently said that their Facebook page was blocked after the site determined it to be “unsafe to the community.”

I did not watch, but I believe the reports were that he would not be under oath. Very strange considering the baseball players testifying about steroids were.

As Roger Stone said politics is show business for ugly people, and these "hearings" are their red carpet.

A fake dossier creates a SC and everyone who ever knew Trump are being place under oath; however, HRC had people destroy evidence, and they were given immunity.
Zuck is CEO of FB, and his company is harassing pro-Trump people and conservatives, but he is not placed under oath.

Take it FWIW, but when I was listening to CNBC on Tuedsay, they said he was "sworn in in another room before entering the main hall"

Wht are posters so fricking stupid?

The govt can punish you or deny you free speech.

There are literally thousands of social networking sites.

Facebook made a business decision and the last time I checked private companies can do best by acting and removing risk factors. That Facebook group delisted is incompatible with their business model.

The First Amendment prevents government from making laws prohibiting the freedom of speech. GOVERNMENT. Facebook is not the government.

The government can't abridge free speech. Facebook is not the government.

There can be little productive discussion of this as long as these actions by FB are being billed as a freedom of speech issue. There is a discussion to be had here but not a 1A discussion.
