The reason dinner scenes are usually the best scenes in the movie or show is you force a bunch of people who can't stand each other onto a single table and have them pretend to act like they like the other, even if it's openly acknowledged that these people despise one another off the table. It's always either hilarity, tension, or both ensue if it's remotely well written.

I know a lot of you watch a ton of movies, but for those of us who don't, can you include titles with the pics?

The Birdcage has a pretty good dinner scene if I recall correctly

This is a great answer. And it’s 2/3rd of the movie.

When Landa looks at Shosanna, you just know she’s done for. But he laughs and then after he gets up and leaves, you can physically feel the stress relieve from her.

Amazing scene.

Landa is one of the best villains ever. Just how he absolutely loves the hunt far more than the kill and will just play with his food before eating it. I think he was hoping Shosanna would flee him again during the premiere, just to be able to hunt her again. A terrifying figure.

Sicario at the end and that's all I'll say as to avoid spoiling it.
