I don't usually even think of cracking a beer until after five PM. Day drinking is fun but leaves me wanting to sleep at three. Besides I'm too afraid of a DUI on the boat. That must suck.

Dude, I always ask you if I need to bring anything? You never mentioned I had to bring you a tampon.

I always have beer handy. In case the fish aren’t biting, I’m gonna catch a buzz

This reminds me of a bachelor party I was in for my cousin in grand isle one year. We stopped for daiquiris 4 times between BR and GI. We launched the boat as soon as we got there and went fishing. My cousins lil bro brought a bottle of tequila shaped like a rifle that you took shots of out of the end of the “barrel.” About 1 hr into the fishing trip we are running around the bay and a game warden stops us. He asks us what’s wrong with our buddy (nobody had noticed yet). But you know when water gets in the back of the boat and the empty cans are floating around back there in the deck. Well one of our buddies was floating around back there just like an empty can. He was blackout wasted. Since the driver wasn’t drunk the GW just escorted us back to the camp and let us off with a warning. A couple hours later that dude was in Artie’s missing an eyebrow with his armpits and feet soles spray painted white. His head was half shaved and he had a big Dick spray painted on his back. He was unaware of his appearance change. Well we met some girls at arties and brought them back to the camp. One of them had a taser, so drinking games ensued where the loser got tased. Pretty sure emptycan/eyebrow/spraypaint got tased at least 5 times.

We caught 0 fish that day. Actually we caught 0 fish the whole weekend. I’m sure some people caught many other things, but no fish.

Still, one of the funnest bachelor parties I’ve ever been on

Jeeze. I normally drink a 12 pack on my kayak but that is over the course of the entire day.

Good thing he isn't my fishing partner, we would never make it back to the launch. I count on mine to drive us back!

Probably the past year i finally started drinking while i fished. I would usually be more concentrated on fishing than drinking. Ive relaxed a bit and will crack one around 9am if ive atleast landed some fish. Now if im fishing on bottom and anchored in the afternoon..... my only problem is when i run out of white cans

it's hard to get "wasted" fishing inshore if you are on the fish. Usually drink on the ride out,sip between casts, pound them on the way in

now offshore is a totally different ballgame. usually the whole boat is shithoused before we wet a line

I don't drink but I do like to puff a little smoke from a black n mild. Something about catching a high on the lake and it keeps bugs away. Only problem I had was one time when my uncle said I was laughing too loud and scaring the catfish away.

I've never seen a billfish rise to a sober cockpit/flybridge It's like the alcohol attracts them to the spread

I wouldn't know what to do heading south without music blaring and booze flowing

I walk up and there's 2 empty cans. By the time we drive to the launch he's had 6 beers.

So he shotguned 3 beers in the time it took you to hook the boat up or you are grossly exaggerating this entire thing?
