No one should be surprised its up for discussion considering the number of mass shootings over the past decade. The amount of slaughtering of children, sisters, and moms we've experienced should bring forth such discussions.
Whether you believe the issue should be addressed via mental health funding, securing schools, or regulating guns, is not as important as analyzing the issue in and of itself.
We need to be asking ourselves such questions.
