Haven't heard his name in while. Excellent ball player in his day. Great baseball name too.

I have one of his foul balls from when he played with the Astros.

Dying on opening day? Pretty nice for a baseball player.

Wonder why he had a restaurant in NYC and not in NOLA, his hometown?

Mickey Mantle never opened a restaurant in his hometown either.

because he signed a professional baseball contract when he was 17 yrs old and left NOLA to follow his dream. He played 23 yrs with 5 different teams. He is a baseball legend in Montreal and NY with HUGE fan support.

Broke my heart as a kid when Houston traded him. He was my favorite.

When I visited Jesuit HS - N.O. many years ago I was chatting with the principal in front of an athletic trophy display. I noticed some tributes to Rusty Staub.
I asked: 'Where are the items about Will Clark?'
Him: 'Rusty was a wonderful student and everyone here loved him. Not so with Will Clark.'
