Ranked you top ten movies with massive twist you didn't see coming. Trying to see if I have missed some good thrillers.
1. Fight Club - Just a brilliant movie that will forever be my favorite
2. Seven - WHAT's IN THE BOX!
3. The Usual Suspects
4. Res Dogs
5. Donnie darko
6. The Prestige - Newer movie but damn it's a good ending
7. Primal Fear
8. 12 Monkeys
9. Citizen Kane
10. The Sixth Sense
Not ranked on best movie necessarily...just how good the twist was and how much it surprised me and made me just stare thinking wtf just happened

All good movies. So don't know if that's an insult or not..but not one movie listed isn't a great film. I don't watch sundance stuff so maybe I miss out. I did see Oldboy and a few others but I liked the other twist on here better.

I liked the twist at the end of Ex Machina. It's was a slow twist reveal. But I liked it.

The book of Eli
The Village
Both these movies endings were a surprise, and I think people still debate the ending of Eli, but not 100% sure.

Amazing how many greatest twists of all time are from the 90’s. Must have watched a lot of film that decade. What year were you born?

For me I don’t think anything will top the original Planet of the Apes.

The Sixth Sense
This should easily be number 1. Total gut punch out of nowhere that changed the whole movie, but still made sense in retrospect. Several others on your list, like Old Boy, were more like mysteries, you knew a twist or something was coming. In Sixth Sense there was no reason to wonder about Bruce Willis until it was suddenly clear. And I love some Fight Club, but had to seriously suspend some disbelief for the twist to make sense, especially when rewatching the movie.

While Ex Machina is amazing, I’m not sure ignoring I classify that as well “a twist”, except for maybe the fact that Nathan was trying to take the Turing Test to the next level to see if Caleb would try to save Ava. The thing is everything Nathan told Caleb about Ava is true, and if you really think about it, that was what the only logical end result for Caleb.
