I'm holding out hope that he has a point about the Vandy and Kentucky thing that I'm not understanding because this is the first or even second time it's come up.

IMO it makes no freakn difference what your offense is as long as your players can function well in it and you call plays that mentally and then physically challenges the defense your playing. That's really all that matters. I could care less who it is calling plays if he can pull that off.

nope...

quote:

Did we lose to A team with a losing record???

NO.. FACT......

Vandy and UK fans would LOVE A 9-3 record and play on NYD........

You are to fricking stupid to see this..........

What A dipshit...

he said i should stop bitching about a 4 loss season because Vandy and Kentucky would like the record.

Dukkev under Miles

-1 loss sec title season is underachieving.
-3 loss seasons are unacceptable
-our offensive production against inferior teams is meaningless
- what our offense doesnt against bama and good defenses is meaningful
- questioning the coach is warranted
DUKKEV under O

-4 loss season is a pretty good record
-4 loss seasons are good because vandy and kentucky would love to have that record
-our offensive production against inferior teams is meaningful
- questioning the coach means you want lsu to lose

he is a hypocrite

I also believe he will be much better at coaching up qbs than we've had n a long time. I think he will suprise a lot of ppl. He will utilize the wr talent we have and if he can develop MB and or LN and we can get them the rock watch out

Why do people say this? Is it just blind faith? It has to be, which is fine.

yep blind faith because no evidence backs up the claims. Just like O being a good head coach. Nothing suggests that is the case. all blind faith.

Probably been pronounced several times over the course of all these pages, but that was not Ensminger's offense in 2016, it was Cameron's with some very small tweaks he did. They did not install a new offense mid-season. Would be nearly impossible.

Ensminger's offense, by all accounts, will be extremely different from what we've seen from a personnel grouping recently. Way way way more 3 and 4 WR sets. 3 WR set being the base formation, without a fullback. In fact the FB position probably all but killed off short of goal line/short yardage situations.

This is the part I have trouble with. I've bought into these "accounts" in the offseason and then they turned out to not to be true so many times, including last year. I'd prefer to just wait and see in September.

Nothing wrong with blind faith. Just want to know if that's what people are basing their comments on or if there's evidence that they see that some of us don't.

I am Hoping we’re watching the saints and see how they sometimes use the FB because Tory Carter is too good to completely do away with that position.

“Wait and see”

After what has gone on in the three last seasons, I don’t believe anything that anyone writes or anyone suggest that they have personally witnessed. It’s little more than spin Until I see it take place on the field in September.

Air Canada turned out to be a major cluster frick. That was it for me.

Ensminger is going to have to find ways to keep Carter involved in the offense in a way that uses his strengths. He was a huge surprise how talented he was out of the 2017 recruiting class.
