I believe I've lost an old friend...my Briggs and Stratton would have turned 14 this summer. I believe my son got oil in the combustin chamber by tipping it forward and now it doesnt want to start and has a bad sounding clank when I pull the rope. Think theres a Honda in my future.

Mine is one year old this month. Got rid of an old clunker last year and bought a Hustler 52”. Very nice. I’m not usually one to do scheduled maintenance but I damn well sent it to the dealer last month for it’s annual tune up. $245 but the whole thing was $3,000 so I’m not taking any chances. I hope to get 15 years out of it.

Man, i had the shittiest one lowes sells. Lasted me two years. But i used a buncha old gas in that thing. Bouta get a little higher quality one and use non ethenol like my boat and bike. Hopefully thatll keep it lasting a while. Bought the cheapest weed eater lowes has and only use premixed gas in it and its 2 years old and cranks right up each time.

My Toro walk-behind is entering its 16th Spring. I had to change the drive belt about five years ago and I have to clean the air filter about every four years or so. It's still running its original oil.

Entering his 4 year, he’s eligible for the lawnmower military in a few months

You need to figure out how to get better oil into that Tuff Torq K46 transaxle. That’s what will eventually kill your rider.

I think he is about 40 or so. Sometimes his son comes with him and helps. He looks to be about quince anos.

My old rider at the house slung a rod through the block a year a go at 12 years old.
My old pushmower at the camp is about 22 yrs old. It sits outside under a deck year round and starts on the 2nd pull every time. I brought it home last year because the pull rope rotted and broke. Replaced pull start, changed the oil( thick as molasses) new air filter and blade. Runs as good as new.
