Be like that Frozen chick and just Let It Go.

You will feel much better.

After saying all of that, you blatantly ignore the fact that the Titans beat the Jaguars twice during the season, including the final game when the Jaguars played their starters to win.

I also wonder if you watched the Patriots and Titans game, or if you just looked at the final score. Based on your views and description, I assume you went to the Titans page for 5 minutes, looked at their schedule and nothing more to draw your conclusion.

Against the Patriots, the Titans were penalized 10 to 4. They were manhandling Patriots early on until refs began penalizing Titans every time they picked up a first down or would get a stop, either forcing Titans to punt or let Patriots keep their drive alive.

While you factor in Luck and Watson coming back, you completely ignore that the Titans have an entirely new coaching staff. For example, their offensive coordinator was the Rams OC last year, intentionally making the system easier so Goff could have the success he did. The head coach spent the last four seasons with the Texans D so he not only knows how they run their operations, but he also scrimmaged against Watson daily trying to find plays best suited to stop him, and other mobile QB's.

For you to simply pull up the Titans schedule to make predictions while maybe watching a game or two, your conclusions are already highly susceptible. If you had actually factored in it's not even the same coaching staff, I'm not sure how you can assume Colts and Texans get better from injured QB's returning, maybe never the same again, while assuming Titans will remain as is and be lower in the standings. Does that mean Mariota after completing 62% of his passes in each of the first three seasons has reached his ceiling at the age of 24?

I'm not trying to knock your prediction, it could end up being correct, but that's not the issue. The issue you is that your prediction seems to based on no actual evidence, visually or informatively. Mostly based on looking at the final scores of last season and being emotionally invested in trying to convince yourself why Suh would choose the Saints over the Titans.

Here's some actual information, the Titans d-line coach was Suh's d-line coach on the Dolphins for the past three seasons. I haven't seen that mentioned, why not include it when drawing conclusions to conjure up baseless predictions? It's easier to type in 'Titans' and click a single link to scout their schedule for 5 minutes, I understand. It's just a suggestion for next time if you want to offer an actual prediction, and not just your feelings which lack any kind of research. --- Unless we're talking Star Wars, then I guess you did it correctly by searching your feelings. As in this scenario, that's what you know to be true.

Damn you're triggered. And yes, it's been mentioned numerous times here that his Miami DL coach is going to be at the Titans. Not sure how it's a "baseless" prediction, either.

Either that or perhaps some of the new signings still aren't official yet, as Morestead only saved around $2.5-3 mil.

But if it is restructures then we are clearly making space for someone. Loomis usually doesn't do that just to do it.

Edit:
Gotta stop jumping right in without reading the whole thread. Doh!

Just doubled checked the NFLPA database and deals for Alex Okafor, Demario Davis, Patrick Robinson and Jermon Bushrod are not in system as of 8:34 a.m. Tuesday. This number will go down.

Should have kept reading.

So each loses us about half a mil less than their cap number as they are replacing someone in the top 51. So $17 mil minus $3.5, $2, half a mil ish, and I haven't seen exact numbers on Okafor.

That puts us around $11 mil, plus we need to account for the effective rookie pool which is around $2 mil iirc, putting us at about $9 mil pre Okafor (which should be around $3 mil).

I wonder if this accounts for Morstead's extension or not. I would say it appears it does.

Can we stipulate to a few things to get the thread back on track? (If you are like me and TLDR you will want to pass on this post.)

1- Ndamukong Suh has, by most reports, narrowed his choices in FA to the Saints, Rams, Titans & Seahawks.

2- Some reports have indicated Suh is pursuing money first, but most indicate his desire to win is his priority.

3 - Each of the four teams he is considering had winning records in 2017 with only the Seahawks not making the playoffs.

4 - Suh is from Oregon, which in addition to Seattle’s recent success, makes Seattle a viable choice. SEA has a QB who has had success in the league, including winning a Super Bowl, and a top defense.

5 - SEA has nearly $20mil in cap space.

6 - Tennessee’s playoff appearance, including a win over the Chiefs, in addition to Suh’s former DL coach in Miami being on the TN staff, makes TN a viable choice. TN has a good young defense and a young developing QB who was the #1 pick in the draft not long ago.

6 - TN has over $38mil in cap space available.

7 - The Rams won the NFC West in 2017, and were considered one of the best teams in the NFL throughout the season.

8 - The Rams have a young franchise QB and a good young defense.

9 - The Rams have over $28mil in cap space.

10 - The Saints won the NFC South in 2017, which included an 8 game winning streak, and were considered one of the top teams in the league throughout the season. The Saints won a playoff game and were one fluke play away from the NFC Championship.

11 - The Saints have a Super Bowl-winning, future Hall of Fame QB, who is still playing at a high level.

12 - The Saints have just over $2mil in cap space but have options to create additional room if Suh wants to play in NO.

13 - In the NFL prior season’s success does not necessarily indicate the teams that will or will not win in the current season. In 2017-18, 8 of the teams (of 12) that made the playoffs in 2016-17 did not make the playoffs

If we can stipulate to these can we agree that each of the 4 finalists for Suh has appeal and a legitimate chance to sign Suh? All opinions on what Suh could be and probably is seeing in each of his choices are legit.

Can’t we all get along? Can we be friends?

Nice post.
At this point I just hope he doesn’t drag it along for weeks.

If I was Suh, I would go Saints or Rams for sure.

I don't necessarily disagree, but from Suh's POV... I'm sure TN is taking the "good young QB" angle.
