I talked to a black woman about one of her distant relatives who had died and she said many people she knew had said they plan to use godundme as a premium free burial policy. Damn.....

There are two climbers missing after a week from a mountain in the Juneau Icefield, one is a world class climber from BC. Theyre raising funds to bring family here to help with the search trying to raise 40k.

I'd say its a legit GoFundMe

Guy I know was diagnosed with cancer. He’s from humble beginnings and needed the money to pay for treatment.

40 thousand to bring the family from BC (your next door neighbors) seems excessive.

Paul, I’ll send Guillermo and PePe over there tomorrow. They accompanied me to Kennebunkport to give NIH an estimate on redoing the landscaping at his bungalow.

Thank you, S. I cannot tell you how hard it’s going to be to sleep tonight knowing there’s a risk of this fox returning to our home.

Stay safe my good fellow. If it threatens, ward it off with a conspicuous inflection in your voice, and say “Now, fox, off you go!”

Plus helicopters, etc. They're pretty damn expensive to charter.

Coast guard and Juneau Mountain Rescue have been at it a week, they'll call it off soon if they haven't already.

Absolutely! Keep the vermin in check tonight. They’re heinous and try to be impish but they’re merely noxious bozos.

Say a guy in your neighborhood is a U.S. Senator. He is a former MD and is quite vocal about how much smarter he is than everybody. He is an arrogant, pompous a-hole and spends the majority of his life lording it over the other residents.

One day his immediate neighbor has enough and tackles Dr. Senator while Dr. Senator is mowing his yard. The senator is a closet poof and sustains broken ribs and a few bruises. The neighbor is arrested. The neighbor has always been a likeable guy. He is a retired MD but is personable and will have a beer with the neighbors.

Do you throw a few dollars toward the neighbor's Gofundme for bail?

Rand Paul's neighbor?

The neighbor is a retired doctor living next to a US senator? Aka he's rich as frick? Why would I pay for his bail? It's probably pocket change for him.
