Clearly ESPN’s racism sexism is being shown by removing Michael and Jemele. Will a WHITE MALE get the job?

Sorry GB. Just now seeing your reply

LINK

I was watching it live and had to rewind it a few times.

What makes it even better is 10-15 minutes before the interview Smith was going off about how Foxx is his favorite actor and how excited he was to interview him.

They need to just re-brand and get rid of this whole '6' BS. It's a coined term by Drake that they tried to capitalize on. I'm excited that the race baiters are gone!

Seeing as the show is over, maybe these people weren't lying...?

Calling it now, Smith and Hill will have a show on MSNBC

They got rid of Joy Reid, and now have a time slot open. They would love Hill there.

Didn't mind Michael Smith, he was decent before he got dragged into the social commentary game by his shitty ex-co host. Back in the day he was a more coherent, tolerable version of Stephen A. Smith.

It's a shame how politics can ruin previously good/great sports hosts and commentators. Keith Olbermann and Bob Costas both immediately come to mind, two of the GOATs who turned into shitty social commentators.

I agree. He seemed like a rising star years ago. He was once a good journalist and a knowledgable commentator who was naturally good on TV. It's disappointing to see his career follow such a disappointing trajectory, especially for a New Orleans guy.

Thw only people that dislike him are salty white folks.

Outstanding. Now go rehire Sarah Walsh again. Or bring back Lindsay Czarniak.

Anyone calling out salty white folks or anything else aren't being honest about what the show was about. Remember when Hill was suspended and their were reports ESPN was trying to replace her with another black woman? ESPN had a show they wanted, and smith and hill were just cogs to fill the spot that they wanted, which was young, millennial, racially diverse anchors that would bring in a newer, younger audience by mixing social, pop culture and sports. They wanted two black bill Simmons.
ESPN is trying to figure out how to attract viewers since cord cutting, but while doing it they alienated their main, loyal fanbase. Nobody under 35 is watching a highlight show anymore. They get their news and highlights online, some of them exclusively. The fanbase that watches highlight shows are predominately over 35 or even 40, and white. Advertisers know this, so you see advertisement to that group during ESPN programming.
ESPN built a show around 10%-20% of our population, and that group will largely never even own cable. And don't blame white people for being salty and racist. Many of the viewers alienated were brought in and loved Stuart Scott. These viewers Mostly all liked Smith as well. They just rejected a politically driven show on a sports channel, and thst shouldn't be that shocking.
45 year old DAve with 2 kids doesn't give a rats butt why Two Chainz loves the Lakers. Dave's kids may like that, but they will watch the relevant 1 minute clip online instead of on TV
