Great movie. I can't say its better than Fight Club.

I watch it every time I see it on. Top 5 or so of 2000s

It's a great film. And although Mindhunter is a pretty good show, it's nowhere near as creepy, intense, and haunting as Zodiac. There's no mystery on Mindhunter, everything is so on-the-nose. I only bring it up because of Fincher's involvement in both projects.

Zodiac is close to perfect.
The pacing is incredible, makes a marathon movie feel like a sprint.

Ive seen it at least 25 times. Its hooks you within 5 mins and doesnt let go until the end. I could probably watch it every night. Its a masterclass in film making. There isnt one thing I would change.
Probably in my to 5 of all time, and a top 5 movie of the century.
Fincher's Catalogue
1.Zodiac(90ish/100)
2.Se7en(85-90/100)
3.The Game(80-85/100)
4.The Social Network(80-85/100)
5.Fight Club(80-85/100)
6.The Curious Case of Benjamin Button(80-85/100)
7.The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo(75-80/100)
8.Gone Girl(75ish/100)
9.Panic Room(Need to see again, not thrilled first watch)
10.Alien 3(not good)

No you don't. Your first feeling is correct.
She did Panic Room and then Panic Room in the air (Flightplan) and then Panic Room in a Park (The Brave One - and her best one.)
But Panic Room used to be a joke among friends. Ugh, and it gave us Kristen Stewart.

Best Fincher film. Best film of the 2000’s.

The one good thing about your horrible opinions is that they are consistent

It is for me. Obviously, many will disagree. I just think it is flawless and the best movie from one of the top directors of the decade.

One of my all time favorite films

It’s a horrible opinion to say Zodiac isn’t one of the best movies EVER fricking made?!?

It put me to sleep the two times I tried to watch it, which is pretty hard to do as a serial killer movie.

Best Fincher film.

The scene with gyllenhaal in the basement with the creepy dude that had all the old film posters gave me the creeps baaaad
Came here to post about this scene. One of the most well done scenes I've ever watched, and it always comes to my mind when thinking of best lesser known movie scenes.
The tension is palpable, and as a viewer you are just as paralyzed by fear as Gyllenhall's character. All this is done through dialogue and tone, there is no jump scare or malicious action. Blows me away every time.

Started off great, drug on way too long from then on.

Zodiac is great on rewatch every time.
Yep, if it's playing, and I catch it, I'm in for the duration. Didn't see it in the theater, but wish I had.

The basement scene is maybe the most uncomfortable I've been watching a movie.
The lake scene for me, I had a legit panic attack. Granted, I was very high when I first saw it, which is not really my thing (that was a terrible decision).
Great movie.

This scene is so powerfual and raw, and I never want to see it again.
