I think because there is a certain morality on the right that typically is close in line to what Christianity teaches.

It must just plain and simply suck to be you and your narrow minded ideology.

I know that this is a troll thread but what the hell.

How is an evangelical seeking to implement policies that they support any different from you seeking to implement policies that you support other than the fact that their convictions may come from religious beliefs while yours are from secular beliefs?

For example, you support Obamacare and requiring everyone to purchase a private product (health insurance) because you believe in universal health care based on your personal morality drawn from your life experiences. An Evangelical supports outlawing abortion because she believes that abortion is murder based on their personal morality drawn from Scripture and Church doctrine. You are both seeking to force your morality upon someone else so why are your beliefs superior?

Excuse me?

Did I say they have no right to support policies of their own choosing?

But I'll tell you what makes us different: I'm honest about my reasons for being a Democrat.

Rex,
Whenever I read your post I have a hard time believing that someone can be this ignorant. You make a lot of bad assumptions about people you don't even know. I'm not going to address all your posts.
All I'd like to do is invite you to go on a mission trip with evangelicals. Maybe help out in a soup kitchen. Get involved in serving others. Do something for others and put yourself in the last place.
God Bless you my man.

You have no idea what I've volunteered for. And I'll say this: mine was never for an ulterior motive. It was always to help... ONLY.

Do evangelicals volunteer for an ulterior motive, Carnac?

And I call bullshite. Everyone helps to feel good and at the same time help others.

That's an ulterior motive unless you are so fricked up that helping doesn't make you feel good. That is a possibility with someone as miserable as you.

Let's see. Democrats want you to submit your sermons before you preach them. They say we are not a Christian nation anymore. They sew to remove Christianity.

Republicans stand up for Christianity. Trump in particular has been the strongest politician for Christian rights in my lifetime.

Still wondering why true Christians vote Republican?

Their not Republicans. The just vote that way because the republican party share more of their values.

If republicans would ever change their stance on abortion who knows what party they would vote for.

You are correct Rex. Exactly my point. I made an assumption about you and I apologize. Please don't assume the same about me and all evangelicals.

Thanks,

When a group demands a religious symbol removed from somewhere... what political spectrum do they align with?

When a school is threatened to be sued by a group because a coach or a teacher prays with students who voluntarily assemble... what political spectrum do they align with?

When groups and individuals baselessly attack the character of a beloved, nationally revered evangelist who recently passed away... what political spectrum do they align with?

When groups sue people with Christian beliefs for not performing an act that is against their beliefs instead of just going to another supplier... what political spectrum do they align with?

It’s absolutely hilarious that leftists can have such the lack of awareness that they believe a group who they consistently berate should associate with them.

Now, they will tell you it's because of "unborn children"... blah blah blah... knowing full well that for decades of Republican power those Repubs have done squat to end abortion.

Only SCOTUS can over turn Roe. Only GOP justices will possibly do so. So anti baby murderers vote GOP and hope. Gorsuch is a good step!

And we already know that religiosity doesn't automatically direct someone to Republicanism: there are MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS of very religious Democrats.

And, certainly, this past election and current support for an Orange Shitgibbon has conclusively proven, once and for all, that they don't give a rat's arse about morality and ethics and good examples in their leaders.

Shitgibbon!
I wear your insults as a badge of honor! This has a new and fresh quality that racist, homophobe, misogynist, etc lack. Attaboy! Keep ‘em coming!

You must be proud to have voted for Hillary “Bimbo Eruptions” Clinton and her Clinton Crime Family Foundation for bribery. I guess destroying women after Bill “#metoo” Clinton mashes them is moral? And, you must find accepting bribes from everyone from Putin to Buddhist Monks is ethical!

Well, let's face it... when push comes to shove they're really no different from other Republicans. It's all about shortsighted profit.

Without profit to tax, there can be no free shite for lazy arsed Democrats.
