I bet the Trooper ran his name to see if he had any warrants or he was a person of interest in any investigation before mailing the wallet.

Once while at work, I found a lady’s purse in a ditch....when I got in touch with her to return it, she gave me so much shite that I promised myself that I would never deal with that bullshite again.
