Before Samsonite bro or American Tourister bro slide in here with their bad vibes and even worse questions, I’ll address the obvious.

“But Pecker, if I get high quality gear it might get banged up when I haul it around and use it all the time. Is it worth it?”

Here’s how it goes, fam. Replace the word “gear/luggage” with “car,” “watch,” “shoes,” (or "wife") etc. Would you ever say that you don’t want a nice car because it might get scratched? Stuff can be replaced if necessary but you can never replace that time you spent being a slob. Always remember: if you show up looking like a $2 frick boi, you’re going to get treated like one. If you think I’m here telling you how to live your life, you’re right. Life is too short to travel like a slob. So get out there and get stylin.

This is Part 1 of a 3-part series where we'll cover some of the best travel gear in the game that ya boy Pecker has stamped with his seal of approval.

Backpacks

If you’re young and want to travel the world (or anywhere for that matter) in style then you gotta get yourself a backpack. It affords versatility that you just can’t get with other bags.
More expensive doesn’t always mean better. It can sometimes mean higher quality, depending on the material used, but you'll usually do better to stick with classic looks and designs. Here are a few options:

Ghurka: Explorer No. 239
~ $1000

Ghurka: Blazer No. 278
~ $1100

Coach: Bleecker Backpack
~$750

Louis Vuitton: Apollo
~$2000

Louis Vuitton: Michael
~$2500

*Bonus Pick*

This is a great option for something a little more adventurous and functional. I like to fold up and pack a mixed-use backpack on trips involving outdoor activities.

Fjallraven: Rucksack No. 21
$225

Any that don't look like a gay cowboy would wear it? Most of those look like they came straight out of Brokeback Mountain.

Agreed, all those backpacks are ugly as frick and way too expensive. I bought a Bobby xd backpack for $100.00. Best backpack I have ever had.

This holds up.

When I travel I prefer function over style. none of those seem to be as functional as a good Swiss Gear Backback

Although I will agree that a designer bag would do better for an executive working in a foreign city.

I bet if you do a Google image search on any of those fagsatchels you'll find pics of dudes in tight pants modeling them.

Pecker LOVES dudes in tight pants.

My MLC has backpack straps, but I only untuck and use one...'cause I'm cool.

Get a Tru-Spec instead. A little over a $100 and will last forever.

It's difficult to get the true stylish vibes until you see it in person. I routinely catch compliments on my backpacks from chicks, bros, homo-bros, well-to-do older folks and black folk.
