Guy seems extremely confident in setting the record in the 40 what are you guys predicting him to run?

He’s very fast in the 60 meter.

Patrick Peterson went 4.37 and Donte looks much faster on film on some kick off returns. Patrick had a bit slower acceleration but Donte hits his top end speed much quicker

He seems very confident he will break that record

Low 4.3's.
Trindon wasn't feeling it that day and ran a 4.34. Donte isn't as fast as Trindon.
Also, its a notoriously slow track isn't it?
ETA:
For reference, Trindon was the NCAA Champion in the 100 meter and his strength was his get-off with his short legs.
To this day I have no clue how he didn't go faster. I thought he'd break the record for sure.

Patrick is arguably the most gifted athlete to ever play football at LSU. On top of that, he was smooth as silk. He just glided.
When he was going full speed and blowing past people on the field, it looked like he was jogging. His 40 was similar. Just extreme athleticism and fast-twitch.

Donte has a PR in the 60m of 6.63. Trindon's PR in the 60m is/was 6.54. Trindon ran a 4.34 at the combine. I feel like Trindon was capable of posting a better time, but he chose not to run again at pro day, so who knows. I think Donte is probable capable of running in the high 4.3s but, as we've all seen in the past, players sometimes run slower in Indy.

That would be considered a disaster for him. Even though it's a very good time by NFL standards

What film does Donte look much faster than PP on? I need to see that

He might do it at his Pro day, LSU has a VERY fast indoor surface, more so than Indy. Times are always better at LSU Pro day.
